02

RCD and RCBO protection

Reviewing the protection provided to individual circuits and selecting an appropriate arrangement for the installation.

Inspection and testing

Checking the condition of the existing circuits and identifying issues that may need addressing before or during the upgrade.

04

Additional circuits and alterations

Electrical alterations for new appliances, showers, outbuildings and EV chargers where appropriate.

USEFUL TO KNOW

Common questions

Does an old fuse board automatically need replacing?

No. The decision depends on its condition, safety, suitability and the work being undertaken. An inspection can help clarify what is needed.

Will the power need to be turned off?

Yes, a consumer unit replacement involves a planned interruption to the electrical supply. We explain this before the work starts.

Can you quote from a photograph?

Photographs of the fuse board and meter area are a useful starting point, but a full quotation may depend on checking the existing circuits and supply arrangements.

Will I receive an electrical certificate?

Appropriate electrical installation certification is provided for applicable installation work.
