Common questions
What is an EICR?
An Electrical Installation Condition Report records an assessment of the condition of an existing fixed electrical installation. It is not the same as a certificate for new installation work.
Is an EICR the same as a quote to repair everything?
No. The report identifies observations and any recommended action. Repair work can be discussed and quoted separately.
How long does testing take?
It depends on the size, complexity, accessibility and condition of the installation. We can discuss likely arrangements once we know more about the premises.
Do you inspect commercial premises?
Yes, we undertake suitable commercial and industrial fixed-installation inspection and testing. Please share the type and size of premises when enquiring.
